OBW's 3rd Pay Per View, Christmas Vacation, featured the
debut of the most colourful wrestler ever to grace an OBW event. It also marked the first time in Canadian Wrestling
History that a competitor would wrestle THREE (3) times in one night... Simply Amazing.
C.V.'s first bout featured the stellar Jewish General
competing against the newest OBW competitor, Tito Benny Jackson III. The JEW
put this quick footed athlete to work as soon as the bell rang. Low Risk Move after Low
Risk Move proved too much for TBJ3. Even though TBJ3 was able to pull
off the world renowned Quanzi Klutch, The Jewish General hung in there and won
his first match of the night following the successful hit of his 'Hanukah' move.
Christmas Vacation's second match featured the 2-1 Jewish General
against the winless Irish Whip. The JEW's endurance was suspect as The Irish
Whip simply man handled the JEW in the early going. High Flying and good ol' grappling proved
to be just the right recipe for The Irish Whip in this contest. While the JEW
was still able to give Whip the Deodorant Deodorizer, The Irish Whip
fought back and landed his finisher, Happy Hour. The 1-2-3 was inevitable.
The Championship was on the line with Dude Meister challenging The Scottish Assassin
for the belt. The Scottish Assassin seemed to have a fetish for chairs during this contest, using one
in nearly all of his offensive moves. On the other hand, Dude Meister surprised a lot of OBW
fans with his tolerance for pain and creativity in the ring. Everything was put into place for The Scottish
Assassin to perform his own finishing move, the SAQ, when out of the blue, The
Irish Whip interfered in the match, bashing the Assassin over the head, the JEW
then came in to defend his friend. The Irish Whip's interference caused the Scottish Assassin
to lose the momentum. Dude Meister hit his second Teddy Bear of the night,
forcing The Scottish Assassin to be pinned for the entire 1-2-3 count.
The events of the previous match forced Christmas Vacation organizers to
book one final match, a tag match featuring the newly formed 'Special Forces' facing "The
Whip Meisters". Lots of innovation came out of this match... However, because of the quick start
courtesy of The Special Forces, The Whip Meisters were unable to mount
a comeback and lost the contest.
All in all, fans were greatly enthused by the effort these competitors put forth on this night.
