The year was 2001, Titan was snubbed by his former company TCW and
somebody had to step up to the plate... That somebody was O.B.
himself. He gave Titan and his former TCW Tag partner Rakish a venue
in which to battle it out to see who the real Champion was. It was surely a hellacious match in which Titan
was actually thrown through a thumbtack filled table. After a twenty minutes of bloodshed, Titan
was finally victorious. It would mark the end of his reign as Champion of TCW for he
left the federation in hopes of wrestling in a more organized company... That company would turn out to be the
OBW.
Months would pass until OBW's first
Pay Per View entitled "Bash in Nunavut" . This featured two hellacious matches:
The first of which featured Titan (currently The Scottish Assassin) vs. JPC
(currently The Jewish General) in a hardcore match. The explosive offensive powerhouse named
Titan showed off all his talents. From pulling off a Swann to Bomb to blasting
JPC with Back Breakers and Body Slams. However,
JPC was able to mount a comeback, reversing one of Titan's moves, and launching him through
a massively thick piece of wood. This enabled JPC to barely prevail. However, following the match,
both JPC and Titan stood together, arm in arm. This was the first time fans were to
see The Special Forces joining forces.
The Main Event featured The Irish
Whip wrestling Dude Meister in a Dumb Ass Match. This match
still holds the record for most Groin Shots. The Irish Whip's aresenal included
many High Flying Maneuvers including the first ever 'Happy Hour'.
Many fans regard this match as the funniest in OBW history. Dude Meister
was also able to mount a comeback in this match... However, things seemed to be under control for The Irish
Whip, until he got cocky.
With Dude Meister seemingly down for the
count, Whip had the match won, however The Irish Whip spotted Dude Meister's
Chocolate Sauce which unfortunately led to the Chocolate Incident. Dude Meister
reversed the the sauce pour which resulted in the 1-2-3 pin for the victory.
Bash in Nunavut was a strong beginning for the OBW which will
lead this organization to prosper in the future.
